In light of recent statements regarding climate change from Pope Francis, Muslim clerics and Buddhist leaders, does your faith tradition or local congregation have a position on climate change?

​Very simply, no, neither our church, Redding Reformed Fellowship, nor our denomination, the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, has any statement on climate change.
The comments of some religious leaders notwithstanding, the whole topic of climate change, with all of the questions of possible contributing causes, and even of the existence of the phenomenon, are questions of science, and not a little of opinion, and so I am not sure how much a church ought to be making definitive statements about it.
In the beginning man was given dominion over the creation, which means it is his to use. We also ought to be good stewards, using it and its resources in a wise and God-glorifying way.
